Wood Pattern Flower [Graphite Pencil] Description:

In 2013 at Mema's house, Papa proposed suggested that I create an image using one of his
woodworking patterns, hence the name "Wood Pattern Flower" .
I easily recreated the lines, then added shading.
A few months later, I copied my picture from my sketchbook, to a larger sheet of paper;
in preparation for the upcoming 2014 Bangor State Fair.
It was entered along with three other pictures and got a blue ribbon.

Many of my earlier images seem as though they have not stood the test of time
This is one of few exceptions, to to this day I still consider it one of my best.
